January 2017
Dear Pastor and praying friends:
Happy New Year, we are praying that in this new year God will richly bless each of you.
We trust that the time of Thanksgiving, and the celebration of our Saviour’s birth, gave you opportunities to shed the light of Christ on this dark world.
As I write to you, I am in the process of contacting Pastors trying to schedule meetings and fill our calendar. Our time on deputation has been a blessing, to say the least, as we have relied on God each step of the way and saw him provide for us in ways we didn’t think possible.
14,048, that is the number of miles we have travelled since we set out on full-time deputation, and in all those miles we were not in a single accident, had no break downs, and never ran out of gas. Although there was one time we were low on gas and went to pull off at the next gas station only to find that it was no longer there, so we began praying and drove to the next available station, we arrived setting a record on how many miles our car could go on a tank of gas. We praise the Lord for his protection and provision.
In October, Cornerstone Baptist Church in Manchester, NH, voted to partner with us and reach the people of Mozambique. We are grateful for their support and prayers.
We had a wonderful time at the many churches we were in throughout October and November, making new friends and prayer partners.
December, was an empty month when it came to meetings, but it was a great time of rest for the kids as well as time spent with family. It was somewhat of a good thing that we were home as both Deacon and I had a stomach bug of some kind. I am glad we did not have to deal with that while travelling.
As of right now we will hit the road again the 14th of this month and are praying to fill our remaining dates on the calendar.
Thank you, so very much, for your financial and prayer support as we continue to make our way to Mozambique.
In Christ’s Service, The Tayler Norris Family, your missionaries to Mozambique
