July 2017
Dear Pastor and praying friends:
Summer is here! That means Vacation for a lot of people, and I am sure many of you are in full swing getting ready for Vacation Bible School and Summer Camp. During the months that have passed since I last wrote 5 more churches have agreed to partner with us in getting to Mozambique. God has increased our monthly support by 5.71% bringing us to 19.19%. Thank you, Berean Baptist Church of Pendleton, OR, Mountain Vista Baptist Church of Sierra Vista AZ, Tacoma Indian Baptist Church of Tacoma WA, Independent Baptist Church of Ellensburg WA, and Agape Baptist Church of Stockton MO for partnering with us.
40 States, that’s how many states we have been in now since we started full time Deputation last September. God continues to bless as we have not had a single car issue in our entire travels, to God be the glory.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our Nations 241st Birthday with family, I am truly grateful that we get to celebrate the 4th of July, because it is a reminder of the freedom we have in serving Christ and being missionaries.
The Big News of this prayer letter is that we have purchased a Truck, Ford Excursion 7.3 Lt. Diesel 4×4, that will be able to pull our travel trailer. This is a huge blessing as we will be able to save money on lodging expenses. Thank you all for praying for so long and giving so that we would be able to get this vehicle.
We have had a splendid time with the (16) churches we have had the privileged to visit from April through June, making new friends and prayer partners. They have all been very generous through their giving, support, and friendship.
Thank you, so very much, for your financial and prayer support as we continue to make our way to Mozambique. In Christ’s Service, The Tayler Norris Family, your missionaries to Mozambique

Prayer Requests:
- Safety as we, continue traveling
- We will be able to schedule meetings and fill our calendar.
- We will raise the support needed to go to the field.
- For the People of Mozambique that God would work even now in the hearts and lives of the
people to prepare them for the Gospel.
- For our ability to learn quickly as we begin to study Portuguese and as we continue a course in Biblical Studies to complete our required classes.
- For our continued good health, so that there will be no setbacks to Deputation.
- Our Spiritual lives that we will remain close to God and grow each and every day closer to him, that we will not stray from His will or be caught up in the snares of the Devil.
