June 2018
Dear Pastor and praying friends:
I would like to inform you we will now provide updates every other month instead of every three months like we were doing.
The summer is upon us and we sure have felt it down here in the southern corner of the United States, it’s been anywhere from 70-105 degrees and if you know the South that means Humidity. God has blessed, our schedule for meetings has increased over last summer’s. I pray that your summer will be full and used to honor God as I am sure many of you will either be going to camp, conferences or maybe a vacation. We will be praying for your safety and for your decisions to better live and glorify God.
I praise God for the safety He has provided as we added 8,311 miles to our account in the last 2 months. Our truck broke down one Saturday morning in April as we headed Soulwinning. The church we were visiting was so kind and had our vehicle towed to a mechanic shop and payed for the repairs. God opened the door for me to talk with the tow truck driver about his spiritual condition and I was able to give him my salvation testimony. He responded that he too was saved but hadn’t been to church in a great while so, I encouraged him to come to church and told him I would be praying for him.
We have had a splendid time with the 15 churches we visited April through May, we have made new friends and prayer partners, their generosity, giving, support, and friendship have greatly blessed us. We thank the Lord that Victory Baptist Church (Sanger, TX), Maranatha Baptist Church (Yorktown, VA), Gospel Baptist Church (Bonita Springs, FL), Salem Baptist Church (Salem, OR), Christ Church Baptist (Columbus, GA), New Life Baptist Church (Madison, MS), and Faith Baptist Church (Ft. Worth, TX) all agreed to partner with us in reaching Mozambique. We are now at 45.36% support.
Big News and prayer request, our family is growing, we are expecting our third child, due sometime in the January-February of 2019. Please pray for Lorin and the baby that they would remain healthy and well. Lorin is experiencing intense morning sickness that she has not had in previous pregnancies.
Thank you so very much for your financial and prayer support as we continue to make our way to Mozambique.

Prayer Requests:
- Safety as we, continue traveling
- For the many Churches that have said that they would like to take us on for support, that God would enable them to have the finances to support us.
- For our Trailer and what God would have us do with it.
- We will be able to schedule meetings and fill our calendar.
- We will raise the support needed to go to the field.
- For the People of Mozambique that God would work even now in the hearts and lives of the people to prepare them for the Gospel.
- For our ability to learn quickly as we begin to study Portuguese and as we continue a course in Biblical Studies to complete our required classes.
- For our continued good health, so that there will be no setbacks on the Deputation Trail.
- That our Spiritual lives will remain close to God and for us to grow each and every day closer to him, and that we would not stray from His will or be caught up in the snares of the Devil.
- For Lorin and the new baby during this pregnancy.
