November 2018 Volume 3 Issue 5
Dear Pastor and praying friends:
I apologize for the lateness of this letter; I should have sent it out at the beginning of October.
God has blessed greatly, since I last wrote. In August, we started in the Southeast, by the end of the month we had a meeting in Mississippi. Our meeting there was wonderful, with the Lord blessing me with encouragement, as there was a woman who got assurance of her salvation after the message. I was able to give my testimony during the service and the Lord used it to work in the lives of some of the people. God continued this work and the Pastor contacted me later to share how another man at this church also acquired assurance of his salvation after we left. God used the message he laid on my heart to work in the heart these people, what a great God we have!
Thank you for your prayers regarding my Ordination Service it was a huge Blessing! The ceremony took place at my home church so, I had my parents and my brother Travis there, as well as my brother Kyle who traveled from Arizona. My in-laws Jeff and Nanci Klein and family were able to be in attendance, and Brother Eric Bohman BIMI Africa Field Director. A group of five godly men who have many years of experience serving the Lord greatly challenged me during this service. The Lord gave me the privilege of sharing this special day with my sending church’s celebration of our 41st Anniversary as a church. I thank the Lord for the many years God has allowed our church to be a light in our community.
Big News Lorin and I celebrated our fifth Wedding Anniversary. For the first time since our honeymoon, we were able to spend it together by ourselves. My parents joyously watched Deacon and Eden as we got some time to ourselves to rest and spend needed time together.
We had a splendid time with the 18 churches we visited August through October, we have made new friends and prayer partners, and their generosity, giving, support, and friendship greatly blesses us. We thank the Lord that Camp Creek Baptist Church (Central, SC), Gantt Street Baptist Church (Cayce, SC), Auberry First Baptist Church (Auberry, CA), White Pines Baptist Church (Moscow, ID), Victory Baptist Church (Fallon, NV), and Bible Baptist Church (York, PA) began partnering with us in reaching Mozambique. We are now at 55.53% support. I praise God for the safety He has provided as we have traveled over 20,000 miles since our last prayer letter.
Thank you so very much for your financial and prayer support as we continue to make our way to Mozambique.
In Christ’s Service, The Tayler Norris Family, your missionaries to Mozambique.
