Language Training – Volume 5 Issue 5

September 2020 Volume 5 Issue 5

Dear Pastor and praying friends:

Well, we have finished our 4th week of school here at BBTI and I definitely having to apply some WD-40 on the gears of learning in regard to my brain, writing papers, taking tests, and hearing new sounds. It’s a brain work out for sure but that is a good thing because it is preparing us for Language school next year (Lord Willing). We are learning about Point of Articulation, Mode of Articulation, Affricates, Syllabic Letters, Voice on set Time, Pitch, Tone, and so many more things including the Study of Cultures.

God is providing other opportunities of learning while here in Texas as I am on work detail, it is through this method BBTI is able to keep monthly rent so low. We are currently finishing the inside of a new workshop, running electrical conduit, putting up lights, and installing new outlets.

We are currently attending a church in the local area and God has provided us opportunities to be a blessing and serve in ministry outreach such as singing and teaching Sunday School. Unfortunately, the county the church is located still has quite a few COVID restrictions so door knocking, visitation, and the bus ministry has not resumed. This is a reminder for us to pray that God would clear this virus and its restrictions, also that God would provide other opportunities to share the Gospel and witness through other means.

This month God allowed us to reschedule a meeting from earlier this year that was cancelled and to also to pick up another meeting to replace others that were cancelled.

God has also provided the finances needed to cover our vehicle repairs. I want to thank those that have given to this, it is a blessing and help.

If you are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas or within about 4 hours’ drive and you would like for us to come and stop by please let us know, as we are looking for opportunities to serve in presenting missions and be able to witness to the lost.
We currently have 95% support coming in and are praying that God will bring our support to 100% quickly. I praise God for the safety He has provided as we have traveled back and forth from school to church and back.

Please Pray for God’s provision regarding our truck repairs, we have not been able to cover the complete cost at this time.

Family Updates by Lorin

Deacon (5) Deacon has some exciting news to share. Sunday night as we were traveling to our friend’s house for snacks and ice cream, he spoke up and said, “Mommy and Daddy, at the end of service I asked Jesus to come into my life, save me from my sins. Now I am a Christian!” We were like, “What? Praise the Lord” Tayler asked him, “So if you were to die today, where would go?” and he said with confidence, “I am going to Heaven!” What a blessing and encouragement!! Pray for him as he grows in the Lord and want to serve Him with his whole heart and his whole life. He loves his Sunday school and his teachers. He has been learning a lot in his homeschool along with classroom school while Tayler and I are in school. Deacon turns 6 on the 28th of this month. Wow! Such a big boy already.

Eden (4) Eden. She is blossoming into a beautiful little girl. She is very sweet and loves to help me in the kitchen, her own chores, school, and loves the single ladies here at BBTI. Eden has been enjoying school a lot. She participates well in her classroom along with video homeschool. She is loving to write and already knows how to write a lot of letters in the alphabet. She is loving the girl friends that God has given her and has been enjoying “girl time” She has been able to participate in tea parties with friends and her brother, playing at the playground, and in the mud. She is much of a girlie girl but loves mud and outdoor. Such a beautiful mix.

Enoch (20 m) Oh my baby, why do you have to grow up so fast. He is loving being able to share a room with Deacon, has been trying to get dressed by himself, says a lot of words and is getting very independent. He loves his class that he goes too every day and his playmates. God has blessed him with 2 little boys his age. They get along very well and enjoy each other company. He almost has all his teeth in which is AWESOME!! He loves bugs but bugs don’t like him. The poor little guy has so many bites.

New Baby (Due 2021) This new little ones is doing great. I am not having any morning sickness which is awesome. We find out the gender on the 22nd. What are you little one? Boy or Girl? Deacon wants a boy now and Eden wants a baby sister. Daddy, Momma, and Enoch are happy whoever you are. Just be heathy and cute.

I Thessalonians 5:25 “Brethren, pray for us.”
